WELCOME TO THE BELVEDERE
The
ultimate in comfort and heartfelt hospitality await your visit
to this charming circa 1828 bed and breakfast. Built in 1828
and originally owned by prominent Sea Captain Elisha Baker,
this Federal/Colonial-style inn was completely restored in
1994. Now on the National Register of Historic Places, the
Belvedere features original wide pine floors and antique-furnished
guest rooms. More up-to-date features include air conditioning,
TV and Jacuzzi as well as computer/Internet access.
Step back in time and get an image of the past when you stay
in one of our individually decorated rooms. Bright and cheerful
colors flow through the entire house to bring the quality
and tranquility of the outdoors to the inside. Relax in the
library with your favorite classic novel or enjoy the ocean
breezes on our screened-in porch. Three charmingly decorated
guest rooms each offer you the privacy
and comfort you’ve been longing for.
A full breakfast is included with your stay and is served
from 8-9am. Coffee and light fare will be available from 7-10am.
View the gardens from the deck, while enjoying your breakfast.
On cooler days, breakfast can be enjoyed in a spacious and
comfortable sun porch or in the dining room.
The Belvedere is located in the historic district of Bass
River Village in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts on Cape Cod.
There are many of the original windows, doors, hardware and
floors that add to the character of this great old home. We
hope that the comforts we have added will help you to fully
enjoy your visit with us here in this charming historic home.
Conveniently located 15 minutes from the ferries to Martha’s
Vineyard and Nantucket, this charming Cape Cod Inn is also
