Fall for the Arts Festival is a free family festival
that will feature local art and culture in three communities
across Cape Cod, including live performances by local
musicians; open houses at theaters, museums, and historical
sites; readings and lectures; art activities for children;
guided art and heritage walks; plein air painters; special
art exhibits; and much more! |
| Yarmouth
Seaside Festival - The Yarmouth Seaside Festival
has grown into a gala event which boasts a craft fair
of more than 125 crafters from all over the country,
a giant parade, continual musical entertainment, high-quality
children’s events, kayak and canoe race, 5K road race,
greased pole contests, pie-eating contests, fireworks
display, etc. to name just a few. |
| Halloween
Carnival at Heritage Museum and Gardens - This popular
family event has expanded this year to include the entire
museum facility, with more activities (all non-scary)
than ever! Activities include: game challenges for the
whole family, DJ led dance party, treasure hunt in the
Maze, a hayride around the Parade Field, face painting,
two craft projects, temporary tattoos, and of course
a ride on the carousel! |
| Spectacle
of Lights at Heritage Museum and Gardens - Back
in its 6th year, Heritage is again presenting Cape Cod's
most popular display of animated lights, bigger and
better than ever before. |
| Taste
of Cape Cod - 2nd Annual Holiday Food & Wine
Festival. Over 50 Chef Owned Restaurants, Gourmet Shops,
Caterers celebrate the holidays under one roof. Cooking
Demonstrations, Specialty Holiday Foods & Wines,
Fashion Shows, 16 pc Dance Band, Door Prizes. Location:

Holiday
Pops Spectacular by the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra
- The festivities begin with a merry medley of holiday
favorites including "Sleigh Ride," "It’s
Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" and Charlie
Brown’s "Christmas Time is Here." Talented
guest artist Rachael Price adds a jazzy touch, the adorable
Eddy Elementary School Chorus sparkles with innocence
and the Chatham Chorale rejoices in song with the "Hallelujah!
Chorus." The spectacular culminates with a very
happy sing-along. Only a Scrooge wouldn’t have a great
time!

Historic Bass River HOLIDAY
COOKIE STROLL - December 13th, 10:30-3:00. Rain or Shine.
$12 in advance, $15 on the day of the stroll. Children
under 12 free. The "ticket" is actually a
cookbook with the recipes of all cookies served on this
walking tour through historic Bass River to twelve sites,
including the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. The cookbook
comes with a festive drawstring bag for collecting cookies
along the way. Tickets may be purchased in advance from:
All Bank of America branches; Bass River Shoe Repair,
146 Old Main St., S. Yarmouth; Cultural Center of Cape
Cod, or, on the day of the stroll, from the South Yarmouth

F. Kennedy Museum - John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum
is a multimedia exhibit designed to open a window on
the days JFK spent on Cape Cod; days relaxing with family,
days playing football with PT109 buddies, days spent
sailing on the ocean to which he was so constantly drawn.
The exhibit features over 80 photographs spanning the
years 1934 to 1963 and is arranged in thematic groupings
to reflect John F. Kennedy, his family, his friends
and the Cape Cod he so dearly loved. |
